Mindfulness as a tool for staff working with students who have severe and profound impairments

I do a great deal of training for educators and families on the topic of working with students who have severe and profound impairments. These are children who are pre-linguistic, functioning at the sensory-motor stage. I’d like to start a conversation with anyone who has had experience in including mindfulness as an element in training for this particular group. I’ve found some real challenges but also had some successes.
