I am an interdisciplinary artist, dancer, and choreographer making work within quotidian spaces, theaters, galleries, and for camera.
Also, I am artistic director for Tableau Stations, a visual and movement based arts platform engaging local and global questions of place. The impetus of this work came from an inquiry on how to negotiate contemporary public spaces of a city with the intimacies and economies of individual bodies.
Here, inquiries to sight/site-specificity are actively engaged.
Ongoing, it is work in the area of travel, absence, inversion, and how to open a map through collaboration and experimentation.
Ongoing, in each project and in my daily life, an integrative dialog between the kinetic and a sense of stillness serves as an inquiry to meditation and location.
Ongoing and unfolding.
Day by day.
